WHO, "한국정부 과거 메르스경험 살려 코로나19 억제"<br /><br />The World Health Organization has praised South Korea's response to the COVID-19 outbreak.<br />WHO Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Wednesday that South Korea has controlled COVID-19 impressively, based on the nation's past experience tackling MERS.<br />"it has been particularly impressive to see how countries like the Republic of Korea have built on their experience of MERS to quickly implement a comprehensive strategy to find, isolate, test and care for every case and trace every contact."<br />He also highlighted concerns over the rising number of cases in low and middle income countries, adding the need for more efforts globally.<br /><br />
