Dr. Deborah Birx is the lead coordinator of the White House coronavirus task force.<br />According to Business Insider, she expressed her concern on Friday about lingering outbreaks in three major US cities.<br />Specifically, Dr. Birx named Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, DC.<br />Despite the rising novel coronavirus COVID-19 cases, all three cities have been running full bore at reopening as soon as possible.<br />Birx said at the news briefing that Washington, DC and its suburbs have the highest rate of positive coronavirus tests in the country.<br />LA and Chicago also continue to report high daily case counts.
