A group of district councillors was pepper sprayed by riot police today (May 24th) as they placed themselves between police and protesters in Caseway Bay in Hong Kong.<br /><br />Thousands of protesters took to the streets to protest against the planned adoption of a national security law by China in Hong Kong.
