국내 31개 당뇨약 '발암 추정물질' 검출... 판매금지<br /><br />South Korea has set restrictions on drugs used to treat diabetes after the government has found cancer causing impurity, called (NITRO-SODI-METHA-LAMIN) 'Nitrosodimethylamine.'<br />The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said Tuesday that 31 out of 2-hundred 88 drug products for diabetes have been found to contain a (NITRO-SA-MIN) nitrosamine impurity above the acceptable limit.<br />However, the ministry emphasized the impurity is not expected to cause harm at low levels.<br />More than 260-thousand patients have been prescribed these drugs by doctors in South Korea.<br />
