A shop in Vietnam uses lasers to decorate images and write words on the shells of coconuts. <br /><br />According to the shop owner, who lives in Soc Trang, he devised a method to use the laser to decorate the coconuts. <br /><br />The coconuts are painted on the outside and then a laser is used to paint the pictures requested by customers.<br /><br />These coconuts reportedly sell very well as indoor decorations, and can barely be produced in time to keep up with demand. <br /><br />Normal coconuts are only sold for $1 USD. However, after decoration, depending on the complexity of the image, the shop sells them for between $5 to $10 USD.<br /><br />The coconuts can maintain their quality for about 15 days.
