Gru and his yellow Minions from the “Despicable Me” movie franchise are urging people to keep their distance.<br />The beloved animated characters are reminding people to keep safe and help fight the spread of the novel coronavirus.<br />According to Reuters, the characters star in a new public service announcement unveiled on Wednesday.<br />The animation studio behind “Despicable Me,” developed the PSA with the World Health Organization and the United Nations Foundation.<br />In the minute-long PSA, Gru urges people to wash their hands regularly and keep at least 6 feet away from each other.<br />He also urges everyone to find fun things to do at home like dancing and cooking and to be kind to others.
