Odo Puiu Daily invites you to watch a ….<br />Sukhoi Su-57, 5th-Generation Stealth Fighter Jets Escort Putin's Presidential Plane.<br /><br />For the first time in history, the world is seeing such aerobatics as those performed by a group of Russian fifth-generation fighter jets. <br /> Su-57s rose up in the sky above Astrakhan to form an honor escort for the presidential airliner. <br /> Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has arrived in the Russian town of Akhtubinsk for an inspection of new weapons systems and aircraft as part of a series of defence meetings in May.<br /> Putin is also set to hold a meeting on the socio-economic development of the Astrakhan region.<br /> When approaching the town, a formation of six Su-57s escorted the president's plane IL-96-300PU. The cutting-edge fighters took off from an airfield at the Chkalov State Flight Test Centre to meet the head of state's aircraft.<br /> Putin inspected an array of advanced weapon systems, including the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched hypersonic missile and the modified MiG-31 Foxhound aircraft capable of carrying it.
