BlizzCon 2020 Is <br />Officially Canceled Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed <br />that their major gaming showcase which <br />usually takes place towards the end of the year, has been pushed back to 2021 <br />due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event's executive producer, Saralyn <br />Smith, admitted it was a "very difficult <br />decision to not have BlizzCon this year." Smith said that in April <br />they were optimistic about <br />moving forward with the event, but "a lot has changed ... <br />and a lot also hasn't changed."
