Apple Buys Startup <br />to Improve Siri The tech giant has acquired <br />machine-learning startup Inductiv. Apple is reportedly planning to overhaul <br />their voice assistant to bring it up to speed <br />with rivals Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. According to 'Bloomberg,' <br />the firm is working with <br />John Giannandrea to upgrade the <br />AI technology that powers Siri. Previously, Apple bought Ireland-based <br />AI startup Voysis in a bid to <br />improve speech recognition.
