A ferocious king cobra was caught after rampaging through a restaurant.<br /><br />Shocked staff called for help when the reptile emerged in a store room in Chonburi, southern Thailand.<br /><br />The 12ft long venomous reptile then slithered into the dining area and hid under a pile of stools on May 26.<br /><br />Building owner Sontaya Nilcuha, 62, said he and his family preparing to open when he saw the dark shadow moving in the room.<br /><br />He sad: ''I thought it was a bird and wanted to chase it away but when I approached it I saw clearer that it was a snake and I ran out before I even knew what species was it."<br /><br />Rescue worker Suwit Sriwattanakul added that the snake was aggressive while it was being caught due to either the hot weather or it being hungry.<br /><br />Suwit said: "The snake was very moody, so we think it might have come into the building looking for food or just needed shade from the sun.
