폼페이오 "완전한 제재집행 이뤄지지 않고 있다"며 북한 거론<br /><br />U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has renewed Washington's commitment to thoroughly executing sanctions on countries like North Korea, Iran and Venezuela.<br />Speaking on a recent podcast, Pompeo said that, while sanctions have been effective,... they are still far from completely executing such penalties.<br />Pompeo's comment come as the first of five Iranian oil tankers entered Venezuelan waters carrying more than a million barrels of crude oil,... despite both countries being subject to U.S. sanctions.<br />His remarks come just a day after the Justice Department indicted 28 North Korean and Chinese individuals for operating a global financial network to support Pyeongyang's nuclear weapons and missile program in violation of U.S. sanctions.<br />
