Staying at least 3 feet away from others, wearing a face mask and eye protection, is the best way to curb the spread of COVID-19.<br />6.5 feet or more is preferred and shows better results for cutting the risk of transmission.<br />The recommendations come following an analysis of 172 studies from 16 countries.<br />Researchers, however, caution that social distancing and face coverings do not provide complete protection.<br />According to UPI, transmission is still possible with social distancing, face mask, and eye protection.<br />The virus can enter through the eyes, nose, and mouth, either directly or by touching a contaminated surface.
