Peaceful protestors are facing police as they shoot rubber bullets in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday (May 31), while protestors create a wall to protect themselves. <br /><br />A curfew was placed at the time of the protesting, but most were not aware due to not having their phones at the time. <br /><br />"A lot of protestors had absolutely zero knowledge of [the city of Santa Monica] announcing a 4 pm curfew this day," the filmer said. "The police did not have signs up on Ocean Ave with the updated change (was 6 pm but they adjusted it around 3 pm to reflect at 4 pm)."<br /><br /> "As soon as the tear gas filled up the media section, police started shooting tear gas and rubber bullets into the crowd while the media ran for cover." <br /><br />The protesters yell "watch your eyes, watch your mouth."
