Protests over the 2016 death of black man turned violent in Paris on Tuesday (June 2).<br /><br />The protests were organized by Assa Traore, whose brother Adama Traore died while being detained by police.<br /><br />Footage filmed on June 2 fires burning under the Boulevard Peripherique, the ring road around the French capital and protesters blocking motorists.
