Indonesian family puts pet cat on a chair to catch 12-inch long gecko that invaded home

A family put their pet cat on a chair and lifted it to the ceiling to help catch a wild lizard.<br /><br />The tabby cat named Koko was called into action when the reptile invaded the house in Aceh province, northwestern Indonesia on May 26.<br /><br />The young girl, Putri, said he father was unable to catch the common house gecko so they put the moggy on a chair to reach it.<br /><br />Footage shows how Koko eventually managed to knock the 12-inch long lizard to the ground and begin chasing it. <br /><br />Koko caught the lizard and it was thrown out into the bushes.<br /><br />Putri said: "My father had a difficult time taking a big lizard out of our house, so he called my sister to lift the chair up. Our cat, Koko, helped to catch the gecko for us."
