The streets of Manhattan, New York City were quiet for the first time since the protests over George Floyd death started. <br /><br />Footage filmed in the early hours of Thursday (June 4) shows deserted streets and police presence outside stores on Fifth Avenue.<br /><br />According to the police chief, the curfew has worked and there was no reports of looting in Manhattan.<br /><br />Earlier on Wednesday, thousands of people marched through the city and 60 people were arrested for not following curfew orders.
