This was the anxiety-inducing moment a kayaker in Georgia, USA tackled a very narrow and pitch-black tunnel that was once used in the mining industry.<br /><br />Captured on June 1 by Matthew Turner, the footage shows how he and some friends dared to go through a very confined and dark tunnel near Dawsonville.<br /><br />Upon entering the tunnel all-natural light diminishes and the sense of isolation heightens massively, apart from one speck of light at the end of the shaft.<br /><br />Turner told Newsflare: "I’ve lived in Georgia all my life and have been hearing about this trip for the past 10 years and finally got a group of my good buddies to do the trip.<br /><br />"That cave was the craziest experience I’ve had kayaking.<br /><br />"I’ve been doing it for years but never in an abandoned mining tunnel!"
