Joe Biden has a long and storied relationship with the police and law enforcement unions.<br />However, now that relationship is apparently strained.<br />Biden called for more national policing reforms and oversight in the wake of the death of George Floyd.<br />Politico reports that there is a perception that he hasn’t shown enough solidarity with law enforcement amid the ensuing nationwide protests and unrest.<br />There are now visible gaps in his support from law enforcement groups.<br />Many who once supported him are frustrated by politically correct posturing by their one-time ally.<br />“For Joe Biden, police are shaking their heads because he used to be a stand-up guy who backed law enforcement,” Bill Johnson, executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations,
