4일부터 조지 플로이드 추모식 시작…9일 휴스턴에 영면<br /><br />Thousands of people gathered in Minneapolis on Thursday for the first of three memorial services across the U.S. as the country mourns the death of 46-year-old African American George Floyd under the knee of a white police officer.<br />Celebrities, civil rights activists, politicians and Floyd's family members paid their respects to the man whose death sparked nationwide protests and called for an end to racial injustice.<br />Reverend Al Sharpton, a civil rights activist, said the protesters may cause change in the nation.<br />Floyd will be laid to rest at Houston Memorial Gardens next Tuesday.<br />National dignitaries, including the presumptive Democrat candidate for president, Joe Biden, are expected to attend.<br />
