The Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine made a big announcement on Thursday.<br />The news regards the authors of published studies on use of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine.<br />The researchers who said Hydroxychloroquine may treat COVID-19 have retracted their findings.<br />The retractions come after reports questioned the validity of data used in the studies.<br />Researchers and third-party reviewers could not verify data supplied to them for the study.<br />One study found COVID patients with cardiovascular disease may even die if treated with the drug.
