As COVID-19 has forced many Pride celebrations across the country to cancel, LA is reimagining the event.<br />Organizers of Los Angeles’ LGBTQ Pride festival are planning a solidarity protest march.<br />Organizers announced that the group would host a demonstration against racial inequality and police brutality.<br />The march is intended as a “response to racial injustice, systemic racism and all forms of oppression".<br />The event will be held June 14, the date previously reserved for the Pride parade.<br />According to HuffPost, participants will wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
