Japan's Fuji Rock Festival Canceled Due To Coronavirus

Fuji Rock Festival, Japan’s biggest annual music event, has been canceled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.<br />According to Reuters, organizers made the announcement on the Fuji Rock Festival website on Thursday.<br />Thousands of rock-and-roll fans attend the outdoor festivities every year.<br />Over the 23 year history of the show, headliners have included The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Cure, and Kendrick Lamar.<br />This year the American band, The Strokes were slated to headline at the event.<br />This year’s festival had been scheduled for three days from August 21.
