Kanye West Establishes College<br />Fund for George Floyd’s Daughter Floyd, a 46-year-old black man killed by a white police officer on May 25, had a 6-year-old daughter, Gianna. A representative for West revealed <br />to CNN that the 42-year-old rapper has<br />stepped in to help George Floyd’s family. West has established a 529 education plan for Gianna,<br />which will fully cover her future college tuition. West also reportedly donated $2 million to the families<br />of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. Arbery, a black man, was fatally chased down and shot<br />by three white men on Feb. 23 in Brunswick, Georgia. Taylor was killed in March by three police<br />officers who entered her home by force<br />and shot her at least eight times. According to TMZ, West has made a <br />separate donation to cover the legal fees for <br />the families of both Arbery and Taylor. Convictions have yet to be made in the Arbery case<br />and no arrests have been made for the killing of Taylor,<br />although the FBI has opened an investigation.
