A dog was rescued by helicopter after surviving a massive landslide that swept eight homes into the sea in Alta, Norway. <br /> <br />The landslide was the largest the area ever witnessed, measuring 800 metres in width and up to 40 metres in height. <br /> <br />Authorities say no one was harmed, despite serious damage to properties. <br /> <br />Many of the buildings were holiday homes, and unoccupied at the time of the disaster.
