On Friday, Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian announced that he was resigning from the company board. <br />Ohanian, who is married to tennis star Serena Williams, is urging the company to fill his seat with a Black candidate. <br />Ohanian said, "I believe resignation can actually be an act of leadership from people in power right now." <br />He said that his family is one of the reasons he decided to step down. <br />The venture capitalist said he would be using the future gains of his Reddit stock to help the black community.<br />He's starting with a $1 million dollar pledge to Colin Kaepernick's Know Your Rights Camp.
