120 Thai nationals return home on repatriation flight from India

One hundred and twenty Thai nations returned to their homeland on a Covid-19 repatriation flight from Mumbai, India, on June 15.<br /><br />Airport officials said that two of the group had high fevers and were rushed to hospital for coronavirus checks in Bangkok, Thailand.<br /><br />The remaining 118 were taken to state facilities to begin a mandatory 14 day stint in quarantine to prevent potential asymptomatic carriers re-entering the country from spreading the disease.<br /><br />Suvarnabhumi Airport boss Kittipong Kittikachorn said Air India flight AI 340 landed in Bangkok at 16:20 with 120 passengers. He added: ''Two of the passengers had high fevers and were sent for further health checks.''<br /><br />Thailand has recorded no new local transmission of the coronavirus for more than two weeks, leading to a gradual easing of the lockdown restrictions. <br /><br />All of the new cases of the infections in the country have come from residents returning home on repatriation flights.
