A group of lucky children from Padang city in West Sumatra in Indonesia today (June 6th) helped release hundreds of turtle hatchings into the sea as part of World Environment Day. <br /><br />Footage showed the youngsters placing the tiny reptiles on the sand and watching them scurry into the sea. <br /><br />According to the event organiser, 250 of the sea turtles of different species were released. <br /><br />He added that his organisation has released 50,000 hatchings in the past four years.
