"전세계 코로나19 확진자 700만명 넘어…사망은 40만명"<br /><br />The total number of cases worldwide of the coronavirus have topped 7 million as of Saturday, according to a tally by Reuters, as numbers surge in Brazil and India.<br />The number of deaths is approaching 400-thousand.<br />Almost a third of the cases worldwide are in the United States, as are about a fourth of the fatalities.<br />Deaths are rapidly rising in Brazil, which could overtake the UK as the country with the second-highest death toll.<br />Although the real numbers are believed to be higher, the number of fatalities linked to COVID-19 is now equal to the number of people who die annually from malaria, one of the world's most deadly infectious diseases.<br />
