A man in southern China's Leshan dyed his dog black and white to make it look like a panda.<br /><br />The video shot on June 6 shows a woman holding a leash attached to dog which looks like a panda.<br /><br />After the video was posted online, it caused a heated debate.<br /><br />According to reports, the panda-liked animal is a chow-chow who has been dyed black and white by her owner.<br /><br />The owner named Yang Yan said his chow-chow named Mei Niu (pretty girl) looks like a panda so he came up with an idea to dye the white chow-chow black and white with natural colouring.<br /><br />Yang said he bowled the plants with water to make the natural colour, then used it to dye the dog before claiming it is harmless to the animal.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
