Several pedestrians held hands and stood behind a traffic pole to avoid being washed away by the flash floods on a submerged road in southern China.<br /><br />The video was filmed in Yangshuo County in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on June 7.<br /><br />In another clip, vehicles and houses were submerged in the deep floodwater.<br /><br />According to reports, the daily precipitation was 272 milimetres creating a new record in Yangshuo County. <br /><br />No casualties were reported and the loss is being calculated.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
