The risk of becoming exposed to the COVID-19 coronavirus increases with certain activities.<br />Dr. Susan Hassig, an epidemiologist at Tulane University, told Business Insider how to manage the risk of everyday activities.<br />Dr, Hassig says to analyze situations by looking at the 3 D's- Distance, Diversity and Duration.<br />#1 The distance you will be able to maintain with others- 6 feet or more is recommended.<br />#2 The diversity of households in the area - keep it to just your immediate household and don't mix with others.<br />#3 The duration of your activity and interactions- keeping necessary interactions to less than a few minutes is best.
