Forest officials use ladder to rescue leopard stranded in well in western India

Following a three-hour-long operation, forest department officials in western India managed to rescue a leopard that fell into a well by lowering down a ladder for it to climb.<br /><br />The incident took place at Runwad village in Chota Udaipur Taluk in Vadodara District, Gujarat, on June 10.<br /><br />According to reports, the leopard strayed out of the forest and fell into a well in the area.<br /><br />Forest department officials rushed to the spot to rescue the feline.<br /><br />They lowered a wooden ladder tied to a rope for the big cat to climb onto it and escape the well.<br /><br />The leopard can be seen in video climbing up the ladder and jumping out of the well.<br /><br />Following this, the feline escaped into a nearby forest.
