A motorcyclist knocked over by the metal girders carried by two workers walking across a road in Thailand.<br /><br />The man was travelling along the highway in Narathiwat, southern Thailand on June 3 when the unexpected hazard emerged in his path. <br /><br />CCTV footage shows the two builders holding the long metal bars as they wait for vehicles to pass. <br /><br />However, while there were halfway to the other side a motorcycle came hurting towards them and failed to notice the construction equipment.<br /><br />The worker at the back tried lifting the bar at the last second before impact but it was not enough to prevent the motorcycle rider from being clotheslined.<br /><br />The injured motorcyclist was checked by the workers who called an ambulance and visited him at the hospital.<br /><br />The police said the injured motorbike rider and the builders would have to discuss the accident and sort out any compensation between themselves.<br /><br />Police Colonel Suthavet Thareethai said: "I have watched the video of the crash and it's quite clear that it was an accident.<br /><br />"The two parties will have to negotiate themselves about paying for costs and if they can't come to an agreement, I will have to be involved, but I don't want to.''
