A farmer in central India's Madhya Pradesh assembled a motorised plough from scratch to till his land.<br /><br />Ashish Awasthi, the farmer, designed the machine to better cultivate farmland in Rajnagar, Chhatarpur district of the state.<br /><br />Footage shot on June 10 showed Awasthi demonstrating the machine on a nearby field.<br /><br />The machine was made amid the coronavirus crisis, using familiar machine parts from everyday commodities. <br /><br />A similar product up for sale reportedly would cost between USD $550 to $600 in the market.<br /><br />Awasthi managed to forge this appliance within USD $80, which runs for about an hour on 0.8 liters (27 oz) of petrol.
