미 재무, 코로나 2차유행 우려 속 "경제 셧다운 다시 할수 없어"<br /><br />U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin says shutting down the American economy for a second time over COVID-19 is NOT on the table.<br />He told CNBC on Thursday that if the U.S. shuts down the economy, there would be even more economic damage, medical problems and it puts everything else on hold.<br />Texas has reported three consecutive days of record-high COVID-19 hospitalizations while nine counties in California are showing a spike in new confirmed cases.<br />Mnuchin added that the Trump administration's primary goal is to get people back to work and he will request additional fiscal spending to boost the economy.<br /><br />
