As part of relaxed lockdown norms, restaurants, shopping outlets and markets in the south Indian state of Karnataka are to open their shutters from June 8. <br /><br />The Union health ministry has said shops in containment zones shall remain closed and those that will open will have to ensure social distancing.<br /><br />However, while shops and market places have been allowed to open up, the Centre has denied permission to hotels and restaurants to operate their kitchen for home delivery of food items.
