According to Reuters, on Friday President Donald Trump said that he would like to see a ban on police choke holds, but...<br />He said that the need for police choke holds should be determined in one on one situations. <br />Trump told Fox News Channel, “I don’t like choke holds ... (but) sometimes, if you’re alone and you’re fighting someone, it’s tough..."<br />Trump's comments come after the May 25 death of George Floyd, a Black man who died after a Minneapolis policeman knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes. <br />Floyd’s death sparked a wave of protests for equality and racial justice. <br />Trump said that the actions of a “bad apple” should not destroy the image of police officer that he says “take really good care of us.”
