An Indian man has invented an ingenious system so that devotees at a Hindu temple can continue to ring a bell without actually touching it and cut the risk of spreading COVID-19.<br /><br />Nahru Khan installed a sensor beneath the bell at Pashupati Nath temple in Madhya Pradesh which when triggered by visitors powers a motor which then pulls the bell chord.<br /><br />"I thought there should be a way for devotees to able to ring the bell during the pandemic without touching it," Khan said.<br /><br />"Devotees are very happy to ring the bell," he added.<br /><br />Hindus ring a bell after entering the temple to reach out to god.
