Horrified residents watched as their four-storey house collapsed today (June 13th) in eastern India.<br /><br />The house, which was built at the edge of an irrigation canal, began to tilt this morning giving residents time to evacuate the property safely.<br /><br />According to local media, recent dredging work in the canal may have de-stabilised the home which was owned by a local businessman.
