In the United States, the fastest-growing demographic groups are African Americans and Latinx.<br />And according to Dallas Federal Reserve President Robert Kaplan, systemic racism targetting those groups is dragging down the US economy.<br />Reuters reports Kaplan made the remarks in a Sunday interview on CBS's 'Face the Nation.'<br />He said blacks and Hispanics have long endured a higher level of unemployment than whites.<br />It’s in the interest of the US...If they don’t participate equally, then we’re going to grow more slowly.
