Kenneth Branagh's direction of Thor brought the most electrifying Avenger to the big screen.<br />In doing so, he also changed the face of modern blockbusters.<br />According to Gizmodo, Thor provided the connective tissue that allowed the Marvel Cinematic Universe to begin dominating Hollywood.<br />It proved that the mishmash of aesthetics that make up the shared Marvel universe could work on film.<br />But while it was a smash hit, Branagh says it's unlikely he'll direct another Marvel film anytime soon.<br />It had been three fantastic years of my life, but I needed to recharge on something else.
