France will be lifting some coronavirus pandemic restrictions sooner than previously thought.<br />According to Business Insider, all of mainland France, including Paris, will become a 'green zone' on Monday.<br />That means officials believe the nation has a low number of active COVID-19 cases and can safely start reopening businesses.<br />Paris and the city's surrounding region were expected to remain in the 'orange zone,' which required more restrictions, until June 22nd.<br />French President Emanuel Macron said Sunday that in Paris, restaurants and bars can reopen beginning Monday. Schools will resume the following Monday.
