골다공증 치료제 ‘랄록시펜’, 코로나19 억제 효과로 확인<br /><br /> New research shows, Raloxifene, a medication used to treat the brittle bone disease osteoporosis, can be effective in suppressing COVID-19.<br /> Discoveries made by Gyeonggi Business and Science Accelerator and the National Institute of Health showed that Raloxifene can hinder COVID-19 activities at cell level.<br />Raloxifene was also used to help treat both MERS and SARS based on positive trial results. <br />The researches will request approval for clinical trials to start in August from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. <br />
