The Health Ministry is not getting full data from private health laboratories offering Covid-19 testing in the country, resulting in the daily low numbers, said Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on Monday.<br /><br />The Health director-general however assured the public that there are sufficient public and private health laboratories that are standardised under the Public Health Lab Information System (SIMKA) to carry out the tests.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Dr Noor Hisham also said his ministry does not provide free blanket testing of Covid-19 but instead is taking a targeted approach, especially for cases in which the patients are designated as under investigation, as well as Malaysians returning from abroad.<br /><br /><br />WATCH MORE: https://thestartv.com/c/news<br />SUBSCRIBE: https://cutt.ly/TheStar<br />LIKE: https://fb.com/TheStarOnline
