The organizers of the Oscars on Monday shifted the date of the 2021 movie awards ceremony.<br />Originally planned to be held in February, they have moved the event to April.<br />This is largely due to the coronavirus epidemic, according to Reuters.<br />The Academy said the Oscars is the highest honors in the film industry.<br />The night of spectacle and awards will now take place on April 25, 2021.<br />COVID-19 shut down movie theaters worldwide and brought production of films to a halt.
