The FDA has issued a warning to healthcare providers regarding two medications being tested with COVID-19.<br />The warning cautions against administering hydroxychloroquine in combination with remdesivir.<br />According to Reuters, the agency said the co-administration may result in the reduced effectiveness of remdesivir.<br />Remdesivir is currently the only medication to show benefits against COVID-19 in clinical trials.<br />The warning comes hours after the FDA revoked emergency permission to use hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.
