Police and fishery workers in southern China rescued and sent a stranded dolphin back to the sea on June 14.<br /><br />The video, filmed in Suixi County in Guangdong Province, shows a dolphin stranded on a beach.<br /><br />Police and fishery workers used a soft cloth to try to carry the dolphin back into the sea but the nearby water was too shallow for it to swim.<br /><br />They then took the dolphin onto a boat to transport it to the open sea and returned it back to its natural habitat.<br /><br />According to reports, the dolphin swam around the boat three times to "thank" the rescuers before leaving.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
