It's virtually impossible to observe strict social distancing if you're on a commercial flight, particularly because the flight crew has to pass through the aisles.<br />According to Gizmodo, airlines have begun to change their in-flight service practices, including doing away with wine and beer.<br />JetBlue Airways now offers passengers sealed plastic bags containing a bottle of water and two snacks.<br />In March, Hawaiian Airlines suspended alcoholic beverage sales in the main cabin and reduced drink offerings to those served in cans or bottles.<br />A spokesperson for the airline said the policy was still in place “as part of a broader effort to reduce interactions onboard the aircraft.”<br />Finally, both Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines have suspended their alcohol offerings across all cabins.
