방탄소년단, 日오리콘 상반기 앨범판매 1위..마이클 잭슨 후 36년 만<br /><br />K-pop boyband BTS has made history yet again,.. this time on the Oricon charts.<br />The Japanese music chart announced Friday that BTS' latest album 'Map of the Soul: 7' topped its sales rankings for the first half of 2020.<br />BTS sold almost 430-thousand copies of the album in Japan alone.<br />This marks the first time in 36 years for a non-Japanese artist to claim number one in the chart for the first half of the year.<br />The last artist to achieve the feat was Michael Jackson, who topped the chart in 1984 with his iconic album 'Thriller'.”<br />
