Indonesian officials on Monday (June 22) released a Sumatran tiger into Gunung Leuser National Park, northern Sumatra.<br /><br />Workers at the Aceh Natural Resources Conservation Centre set the tiger free after it was evacuated and rehabilitated for several months.<br /><br />Footage shows the tiger, named Ida, leave the cage immediately as the door opens. <br /><br />Ida was evacuated from East Trumon in Aceh after several incidents happened with locals.<br /><br />After being evacuated, the tiger was temporarily placed under observation at the Conservation Response Unit (CRU) in Trumon observation before being released.
